Brexit – Is it worth it? Bus tour (High Wycombe)
*In Limbo representation: Elena Remigi at High Wycombe on 26th*
On 23rd February a big red bus with slogans about Brexit will be arriving in Manchester and parking up outside the Bridgewater Hall on Lower Mosley Street for half an hour or so between approx 14:30 and 15:00. The difference this time is that the slogans on it will be true! We intend to use the bus to sway the minds of moderate Leavers and to reveal a few facts they may not have known about Brexit – such as that it is costing us £750 million per week in lost growth and investment. We intend to invite MPs, MEPs and the press to cover the event and everybody is welcome to turn up (but please dress appropriately and although we love the blue-and-gold-stars this campaign, like Stop the Silence, is aimed at audiences other than the ardent Europhile). Tickets now available via EventBrite to give us an idea of how many are coming. Confirmed speakers so far from scientific and student communities, Manchester Universities for Europe, plus EU citizens groups.
